Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Oklahoma City, OK)

Northwind Meridian Foods Group is a Oklahoma City food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oklahoma City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
