Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Oakland, CA)

Stonegate Hollow Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Oakland. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
