Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Forge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Oakland with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
