Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Oakland, CA)

Summit Granite Press Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for print quotes. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
