Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Nashville, TN)

Bright Harbor Farms is an agricultural business based around Nashville. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
