Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Milwaukee, WI)

Greenridge Harbor Freight Partners is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 209 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Knowledge of freight terms.
