Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Northwind Keystone Foods and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
