Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Memphis, TN)

Ironwood Willow Press Group produces print and digital publications in Memphis, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for proofing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
