Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Memphis, TN)

Highbridge Meridian Foods Group is a Memphis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
