Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Memphis, TN)

Nova Quill Freight is a Memphis logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
