Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Memphis, TN)

Amberfield Ridge Construction Group is a Memphis contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 136 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
