Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Louisville, KY)

Silverline Pine Markets is a Louisville retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 57 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
