Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Quarry Telecom Partners is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service installations. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
