Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jackson, MS)

Bright Rook Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Jackson, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
