Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jackson, MS)

Bluepeak River Press produces print and digital publications in Jackson, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
