Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Sparrow Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Houston region, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for seasonal crews. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
