Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Summit Auto Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
