Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Hartford, CT)

Clearpath Cross Foods is a Hartford food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
