Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections.
