Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Bridge Farms is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for field records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
