Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Quarry Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Knowledge of freight terms.
