Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Corner Markets is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
