Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Fern Freight and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
