Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (El Paso, TX)

Summit Wren Foods is a El Paso food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
