Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Summit Nest Press Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
