Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Cleveland, OH)

Foxglove Umber Foods is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
