Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Cleveland, OH)

Nova Fern Freight is a Cleveland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
