Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Stone Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Baltimore, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
