Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Austin, TX)

Rivermark Bright Press Group produces print and digital publications in Austin. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
