Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Austin, TX)

Stonegate Maple Manufacturing Partners is a Austin manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
