Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Bluepeak Amber Markets is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
