Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Foxglove Juniper Foods produces packaged foods at its Atlanta plant. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
