Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Ironwood Ember Press is a printer and publisher in Atlanta serving local and national clients, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
