Senior Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fox Auto Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
