Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Tucson, AZ)

Fernwood Lakeside Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Tucson, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
