Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
