Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (San Jose, CA)

Summit Field Press produces print and digital publications in San Jose, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
