Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Granite Manufacturing makes precision components in Rochester, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 287 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
