Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Rochester, NY)

Summit Nest Markets is a Rochester retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
