Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Redstone Lakeside Freight and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
