Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Rowan Freight and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
