Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Lumen Umber Foods is a Omaha food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
