Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Fernwood Bright Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
