Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Bright Cedar Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
