Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Amberfield Cedar Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Sacramento, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 157 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
