Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (remote)

Summit North Construction Group is a Providence contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
