Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Portland, OR)

Northwind Glen Farms is an agricultural business based around Portland, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
