Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Philadelphia, PA)

Amberfield Beacon Press Partners produces print and digital publications in Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
