Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Philadelphia, PA)

Ironwood Fern Farms is an agricultural business based around Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 736 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
