Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Clearpath Pine Auto Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
